*Sara utilizes silicon photonic microring resonators to measure protein-lipid and protein-membrane protein biophysical interactions.  Current work focuses on proteins specifically involved in phosphatidylserine interactions.  

When a break is needed from lab, she enjoys journaling at coffee shops, strolling the streets for the latest additions to her closet, watching Suits and Gossip Girl, catching up with friends, and drinking wine while reading a good book.
