In the Bailey lab, Olivia is working with Clara developing hydrogen peroxide sensing chemistry that will be integrated with enzymatic reactions to ultimately detect lactate and other metabolites.

Being able to dispense DI water out of my finger

If you were not doing science, what would you be doing?

I would want to be an archaeologist (although I love chemistry and it’s always what I would want to do)

What can people find you doing outside of the lab?

I’m on the Michigan climbing club. I love rock climbing indoors and outdoors, as well as camping.
