Sara utilizes silicon photonic microring resonators to measure protein-lipid and protein-membrane protein biophysical interactions. Current work focuses on proteins specifically involved in phosphatidylserine interactions.
When not in lab, Sara enjoys outdoor activities, drawing, playing video games, cheering for the Penguins, and plotting to steal every dog she sees.
